The Morgan Auto Group recently announced that its Toyota of Tampa Bay dealership was among the select few U.S. Toyota dealerships to qualify for the coveted “President’s Award for CustomerFirst” presented by Toyota Motor Sales. This is the 9th time that the dealership was awarded this top honor by the global manufacturer.

(Tampa Bay, FL) – Toyota Motor Sales recently presented Toyota of Tampa Bay with a 2016 Toyota President’s Award for CustomerFirst. This is the 9th time that the Morgan Automotive Group dealership receives this accolade. The coveted award is currently the manufacturer’s highest possible distinction for a U.S. Toyota dealership.

“The President’s Award is especially important for us because we achieved, by Toyota’s standards, all of those great qualities that we strive for every day,” said Mark Schols, General Manager of Toyota of Tampa Bay.

The President’s Award for CustomerFirst is awarded annually to U.S. Toyota dealerships who excel in all facets of operations and go above and beyond at each customer touch point, representing the best of the best.

In order to qualify for the award, eligible U.S. dealerships must be nominated by a regional or private distributor, then evaluated by the automotive manufacturer on sales standards, marketing compliance, service processes, branding, and other key metrics.

Toyota of Tampa Bay excelled in all areas evaluated including facility compliance against Toyota Image USA II standards, a branding and operations marker established to increase dealership capacity while simultaneously providing a solid cohesive brand identity for the manufacturer.
